How the price is built

Green coffee at FOB, the freight and customs entry that brought it in, roasting, bags and cards, the delivery round, and a line held back for the next origin visit. Add them up and you get the number on this page — there is no separate margin line, and no line we will not show you.

The producer line is the cherry payment itemised on the export invoice. It is the most honest number we currently hold, and it is still not the farm gate — the washing station and the mill sit in between. That gap is the next thing we are trying to close.
